  • CSound on a Pi

The Raspberry Pi aws fun and somwhat revolutionary, a cheap machine on a board the size of a cigarette packet.

It’s moved on a little, so much software and projects you see now seem to go to newer models, Pi 4, 5 , whcih ain’t so cheap.

Still, I had a few older ones lying around, needign to be used again

From some old idea, I had a Pi3 and a sound card for it, not really used. I’d always beed interested in some of the coding for music things out there – Max, PureData, Supercollider and CSound

So I found I could run CSound on this old PI, purely to create a configurable, standalone MIDI synth
